I just got a nintendo ds lite for 10.00 was that a good deal? And i saw some cheap gameboy games and nintendo DS games can my Nintendo ds lite play the gameboy ones?

Yes, if your DS works, you got a dang good deal. As for gameboy games. It can play game boy advance games, but not game boy classic or game boy color. The gameboy advance games are smaller than the classic and color games. Hope this helps you.
i got one you can play gameboy advance games on there too but they have to be advance ones. oh and good deal mine cost me £100 check your instruction booklet it tells you how to put it in

You can use gameboy advance games and nintendo DS games. But the gameboy games only use one of the screens and don’t have touch screen capabilities while the nintendo DS games use both screen and do use the touch capabilities.

If your talking about gameboy colour games and already have a game cart(like r4ds or CycloDS), you need to buy something called an "ez-v 3-in-1". If not, nintendo has made gameboys/ds backwards for only 1 generation, so you wont be able to.
Yes. That was actually probably one of the best deals i’ve ever heard of. As long as the DS is in good condition, and ofcourse, works. And Yes, you are able to play gameboy games on your nintendo. On your nintendo, at the front, you will see a small slot, that when bought, comes with something that goes in wen u are not using a game. Also, when you insert the gameboy games, they do not go in all the way. They go in about halfway. Though is is fine, nothing is wrong, and you arent doing anything rong. this is the way it works.
Yes you can. Just take out the thing on the middle of the ds, beside the volume adjuster. Insert your game boy card there. Then open your ds again, and it will take u to the "home page," where u can play ur game.
Because game boys only have 1 screen, only 1 screen will be used. If u want to change the screen u use, then wen u open ur ds, u click on the small square on the bottom, and u can change it there. To be more specific, u click on the button where u can change ur personal info and stuff like that.
obtw do NOT wet ur ds. One time i got my touch screen wet, and now my touch screen totally sucks. It’s weird, and i hav a hard time playing games like cooking mama.
And 10 dollars is a very good deal. I got mine for 150 dollars. not that i’m all that suspicious, but normally people wont offer it for such a cheap price… well i hope its not broken or anything. But it if is, u will only be ripped off 10 bucks so u wont be that disappointed, right?

BTW, a new DS will be launched next month. The new Nintendo DSi will be released in japan and other markets are to follow. I wonder if it can play other DS games.
