Yeah! I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to play them on your Slim Version Console.
If you already own the games, then just try them, but if you are going to buy them. First, go to a local playstation game supplier, more so a games shop rather than a department store, and ask them if you can play ps1 games on a ps2 slim version. Then you can come home and buy the games online or just get them from the shop.

Yeah, you still can. PS2′s backwards compatibility has not been removed in the slimmer ps2 version.

yes you should be able to if the slim has not been chipped or any other source of hacking on ps2
