Can I play Sony playstation 3 3D games on a Samsung 3D TV?

I have a Samsung 3D tv and wanted to know if it’s possible to play Sony playstation 3D games on a normal playstation with a samsung 3D tv. I’m thinking you have to have a Sony 3D tv but I’m not 100% sure. Thanks in advance!

3DTV is a ‘protocol’ kind of like blu-ray is a DVD protocol. The brand of TV doesn’t matter.
If/when you do get the new TV, make sure to redo the system setup for supported video resolutions/etc. to make sure it ‘registers’ the 3DTV support.
