Can you play original Xbox games on a Xbox 360 hard drive?

I was wondering if this was possible. For example i think Microsoft has this thing where you can copy your 360 games to your hard drive and play it off there for faster load times. Can this be applied with original Xbox games? You copy the Xbox games to the hard drive and play it off there? Since of course you cannot burn the game because of copy protection and its illegal.
I dont think so unless you buy it off of the xbox live marketplace under games on demand it wont work.

Yes this is possible (dev is lying, and is trying to piss u off) but you still need the disk even when you are playing off of your hardrive, so the xbox can verify you have the game.
You can play x-box games on a x360 console.
Only certain games =)
