Why did so many late 70s to early 80s video game consoles have numbered controllers?
I don’t get why they would. Who wants to play a video game controller with a telephone?
The Master System, Famicom, NES, SG-1000, and even Atari 2600 had it right. Why would guys like Colecovision and Intelevision get it wrong?

When I tell her I want a NES, and Wii, she says something along the lines of "Don’t you have enough games already?", then she acts supportive and just fine with it.
It’s confusing.
I want to own almost every console. Plus, I prefer actually owning the console and game rather then emulation.
How do people that make video game reviews on YouTube get the new video games and video game consoles?
Do they get to keep the consoles and video games when done reviewing them. Same thing for people that review other technology based products such as laptops, desktop computers, cell phones, etc.

Can I claim my pc, tv and video game consoles on tax because I use them for work?
I work for a electronics store and use my PS3, PC, Nintendo DS and Wii (which I bought within the last year) to test games to be able to recommend them to customers. Can I claim these on my tax? I also bought a tv from the store and can I claim it for "product knowledge"?
Everything but the tv was paid for with cash, the tv is on finance.

Why do people buy expensive video game consoles?
Don’t most major video games, like Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, etc, come out for PCs too? Also, there are hand held games systems that are much cheaper. What is the point of buying PS3s and Xboxes?
Most people have PCs, so why would they go out and buy a console and spend more money?
