Gameboy Games- Are they regionally coded? Will a USA gameboy advance games work in an Australian GBA?

I live in the US and my Australian nephews want Gameboy Games for christmas. Can I buy the American games for the or do I need to buy them Australian games.
yea u can buy american games. it doesn’t matter where u live.
All GBA games work with any GBA unless they are coded in different languages.
