How do I create an account to play online psp games?

I want to play NFS Carbon own the city online, how do I create an account? Are the servers of that game still online or are they alredy shut down because the game is old.
And finally, do I have to create only one account to play all psp games online or do I have to create different accounts for each one Thanks!
It depends on the manufacturer. For instance I can use the same id and password for EA games, but Socom requires a different account.
Try going on the official Playstation site and register. One for a accoutn i guess?
