How do i play call of duty modern warfare 2 online ?
When trying to access the online mode it says i have to be signed in to steam to play online mode
what is this ?
Do i have to pay for this ?

You have to buy the game, cheap ass.
Register on steam, login and then you should be able to play.
Ok depends on system. PS3, you get the game, plug in wireless or ethernet cord, turn on System, choose multiplayer, choose first choice, search the game mode you want to play, same with the 360
ok buy the game on xbox 360 get a wireless adapter and play
get the STEAM client from the STEAM website, type it in google or something. Then create an account and log in to the client before starting the game, this is only if you have it on PC though, otherwise I haven’t a clue. Oh, and don’t worry the client is free.
no u don’t have to pay unless if u have internet connection. you connect to your wi-fi or plug in your internet cord (ethernet cable) and u go to network settings and it will step u through it and plus u have to have a psn account which u could get one by selecting the blue ball icon. once u get the requirement u should be fine.

It’s completely free to sign up for a steam account. Steam is an online store where you can buy games, however if you already bought your copy of Modern Warfare 2 you should have no issue playing online. Just go to the steam website (http://store.steampowered.com/) and register for an account and once you are done with that you can play Modern Warfare 2 online!
You just need to register a steam account its free as far as i know and you need it to play quite a few games so its worth getting, and you can also buy games off it and download them
