How do you play original gamecube games on a softmodded wii?

Recently, my friend softmodded my wii and today, I tried to play one of my old gamecube games (original, not burned) on my softmodded wii and the game wont show up on the system menu. Help please.
Your friend probably messed up something that lets you play gamecube games. Ask him to re-do what ever it is that he did and you should be A-OK.
