I Need Help With Gamefly?

I am wanting to become a member of Gamefly or Gamerang. But under terms of use it says you have to be 18. Im 17 and have my own checking account and debit card. I know that if I ask my parent if I can become a member to this site, she is going to make me pay for it. So do you know if I can just become a member by myself, or will it make me add my mom or dads credit card to the account also, if its going to make me do that, then i wont be able to get the service.
If anybody knows, an answer would be greatly appreciated,

If i lied and just set it up myself, would could happen? and are the chances of the finding out high? If i use my debit card, wouldn’t they be able to see that I am not 18 through that?
if you are under 18 years old you cant enter into a legally binding agreement without parental consent. you would have to lie or have your parents set up the account.
if you were to lie the worst they could do is suspend your account and prevent you from ever opening a new one. they may be able to see your real age when billing your account.
if i were your i would just have my parents set up the account and take it over when i turn 18.
