In pokemon colosseum, how do you get registered GBA pokemon back on you gameboy advance games?

I have 6 registered pokemon on Pokemon Colosseum (so I can use my Gameboy Advance pokemon for colosseum battles) and I want them back on a different game (first my pokemon came from Ruby and now i want them on Emerald)but i dont have Ruby anymore! I tried to switch them with different pokemon, but my Colosseum screen says that the previous data will be erased. Is the "data" that the game said mean the "battle tower/colosseum records" or the pokemon themselves??? I’m too afraid to try it out because my pokemon are very powerful and I don’t want them deleted!! Someone please help!!
