I want to get the new 360 slim for 300 bucks, I’m thinking of trading in my old xbox 360 arcade, but I don’t know Is it worth it, just to waste all that money I like video games but I don’t know. I’m 14 and that’s why i’m so money conscience
The new one is nice but I would ask if the features really win you over or not.
New 360 has
250 gig harddrive interal
No memory units / no memory card slots
Built in wi-fi
Uses less power
Is quieter (biggest plus for me)
Has touch buttons like the older ps3s, you slide your finger across them as there not actual buttons.
Is smaller….
5 usb ports, 2 in front 3 in back
And a special slot of Kinect or Natal depending on whatever your calling it.
Really your buying a new one for the hard drive and suported wi-fi. You will have to get a exteral usb drive to transfer all your saves and stuff over to it or buy a transfer kit for 20$s as you can’t use your hard drive on it.
Its a hard as hell choice man, I can’t lie. I really want one, they look nice. But I would say don’t get one, there not worth the money simply to upgrade. Your paying 300 for a hassle and possably losing your saved data.
Hmm Can’t really help you with xbox but if you decide to buy an Nintendo wii you can Install homebrew easily, people from this site can tell you all about it http://www.entertainz.co.nr/
You really know how to throw a very tricky question.
Obviously, you’re interested but the money problem is holding you back.
My advise: If you can’t still afford it, and do still enjoy you existing games, don’t change.
It is still unaffordable because of the Research and Development cost spent by the company that produced that product. Wait for about one to one and a half years, you will find that it is more affordable and that more games will have been more available than today.
Besides, you will have learned from what the specialty magazines will have had said about the product. Buying a product that did not meet your expectation will only put you in the group of disgruntled buyers.
Think about it.
