My playstation 3 system does not allow me to play games?

When I insert a playstation 3 game into my playstation 3, it says notifications abouts playstation related topics can be found by connecting to a network, and it says about display and stuff and ive been trying to fix it for weeks doing what it informs me to do, but it doesnt fix, can anyone help me
did you get the update…. that what happens sometimes..
Reboot the hard drive or getta specialist 2 fix it
take it back and get a band new one but they should give it to u for free cause yours is broke
Either take it back. or reset it (turn off the ps3 fully by turning off the switch in the back and see how that works)
First you have to gotto settings and adjust your BD settings and game settings…If all else fails try the press and hold for ten seconds power on which resets default settings… If all that fails then back up your harddrive and run restore which will make it factory new pop a game disc in and it should play then run update , then put your backed up harddrive info back on the harddrive.
go talk to the people at your local best buy and talk to the Geek Squad guys. when my mom’s laptop crashed, we went there and they took care of it easily.if you want help for free (the geek squad charges, not sure how much) maybe go talk to some one at a gamestop or other electronics store. ask them if they have ever heard of this happening to other people. if your ps3 couldnt play games from the start, it could be faulty. contact sony and they should give you either a new ps3 or a refund.

It’s unlikely there’s anything major wrong with it as sony has a 2% fail rate but I would make sure your inserting the disk the right way , Make sure its clean. If that doesn’t work on playstation settings return it to default then try. If all else fails check the sony website for help or check for other people who have the similiar problem on yahoo answers. You could also phone sony up because it may be the case that your playstation 3 is faulty.
