Playstation 2 games similar to Legend of Spyro series and Jak and Daxter series?

I have played the first 2 legend of spyro games (as well as the 3 for the original playstation) and Jak and Daxter and Jak II. I really like these kind of games, with some sort of story that are not too violent, difficult and are open (rather than linear). PS2 Games that are similar? Thanks!

-you should try jak and daxter the lost frontier, its not as violent as jak 2 and is more like jak and daxter 1

Also this isn’t quite the same but I liked those games too and I loved this game called dark cloud.
