hey there, just wondering about the above, if i purchase an xbox 360 game while in england, then come back to australia, will it work on my australian xbox? also if i buy a xbox live card will it work in australia too?

Does anyone know if the game: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for Xbox360 going to have Region Protection…I have a US NTSC Xbox in Australia who uses PAL… So I normally have to order all my games in from overseas but occasionally a couple of games would have no region protection, enabling me to purchase them here so if anyone knows that would be great.

I’ve heard that they can in a few forums but i’m not 2 sure, but I’ve also heard that they are a few region locks in certain countries, but i’m hoping it wouldnt be a problem as both the countries are using PAL.

Why does PlayStation 3 games list DVD regions?
This is confusing, albeit every PlayStation 3 games is a Blu-ray Disc and has a different region codes. So, I live in Australia and games show Region 4, despite not being a DVD. Why so?
