What are some good PSP games I could get for my Husband?

My Husband is currently deployed in Afghanistan and I want to get him some new games for his PSP and send them to him, only I know like nothing about the games that are out right now. Is it hard to find playstation 2 games? Cause i wanna buy a 50 dollar PS2 from the pawn shop in my town because:
