Playstation 3 games, Lair and others? When are the good games coming out?

Please list good games out right now and coming out. Also if anyone knows any good PS2 games please list them as well. I really like games like Diablo 2 and Champions of Norath. If you know any like these let me know as well. Thanks.

Why are the games for Playstation 3 still being made for Playstation 2?

The other day at the store, I noticed that many of the games for Playstation 3 are the very same games that are made for Playstation 2. Why is that and what’s the difference? Why are these PS2 games still being made if a person already needs that game for his PS3?

Will we be able to Backup Playstation 3 Games?

I can backup and play my PS2 games already and am going to purchase a Playstation 3. I was wondering if anybody has a clue if there is a way to copy and play the PS3 with its new design.

Is there a way to play playstation 2 games on a ps3?

Does anyone know of a program or a work around that will make it possible for ps2 games to be played on a ps3? We have ps2 software downloaded from the playstation network but we tried to play a ps2 game on it but got the "not compatible" message. Is there any way to tell what ps2 games are compatible and which ones are not? CECHLO1 is the ps3 model number and it has 80 gig space, version 3.3.

Will the Playstation 3 Slim be able to play playstation 2 games?

When the first playstation 3 consoles came out, they were able to play most if not all ps2 and ps1 games. But due to costs, they cut back and the current models on the market can not. The only way to do it is to get it mod which I don’t really want to risk.
