What Nintendo DS games should I buy for my six year old grandson?

I bought him the DS for Christmas and the game Mario Carts. Now he has a birthday in January and his parents sugested that I buy him some games for his DS. I woud be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks!
my 6 year old brother LOVES pokemon diamond and pearl (either one is good, don’t get both, we learned that the hard way), and i agree mario ds is good too

Zelda seems to be fun along with other Mario games. They have several Mario kind of games as well.

any sims games (there awesome … plus help teach responsibility)….. the classics like super mario bros …. nintendogs.. simposons road rage…. nething new is prob the best way to go
I have a ds too so ill suggest you keep an eye out for how hes doing with his game if you see he likes it buy him another mario game like maybe mario party. Or if he dosnt like it buy him a pirates of the carabean game or a sport game.
Clever Kids – Dino Land might be a good game for his age?

First of all, in my opinion, a six year old shouldn’t have a DS, they should be going outside and playing. But I can’t change anything about that. I guess good games to get for a kid of that age would be Pokemon, Mario Kart DS, or some other sort of platforming game. Maybe Drawn to Life?
