What stereo system can be connected to a tv, computer, and video game consoles?

For my setup, I have my 32′ Inch Samsung tv connected to my computer as It’s monitor and a couple video game consoles hooked up to It. Unfortunately the sound quality (wether Its music, games, or movies) Is crap and I like to connect them all to the same stereo system for the best quality sound.
Any stereo receiver with the optical input will work, most 5.1 or 7.1 will have the optical input. Also home theater in a box will have the optical input. If you decide on a receiver you will also need a speaker. I would recommend you look at an Onkyo HT-S system, it is a separate receiver and a set of speakers, which you can connect just about anything to it. A home theater in a box you only have one input and that is the optical. Fry’s Electronic carry the Onkyo HT-S, you can demo the model that will fit your budget. Hope this will help you out.
