Why do grown men argue over video game consoles?

I don’t care about them playing on it but there’s one thing to play on the game console but it’s another to start a "console war" and have pointless arguments about a video game console (specifically PS3 and XBOX 360). You get what I’m saying?
Grown men, large boys, 6"0 ft. tall 12 year olds whatever you wanna call em.

Its usually not grown men arguing but kids who can’t afford both.

lol yeah, maybe cause they’re so into the game, i mean they didn’t play ps3 and xbox when they were kids, so they probably love playing so much, they’ll start saying all sorts of things to keep the flow of excitement going or something
They just want to fight for something since they haven’t got anything else to do
FOOL! The PS3 is vastly superior to the 360! I will not cease until everybody sees it!
because video games are AWESOME! They let us escape into another reality and leave all out troubles behind… never mind if they create new ones! If you see the dependence and comfort people get from these escapisms you can easily see how loyal they get to their brand…
let men be men and get over it….. that’s all about I can say.
The creators/staff and even magazines (Game Informer) argued between the two. But, Its like the Red Sox and the Yankees, the rivalry isnt ever going to end
Ah, I’ve seen this before.
I always see 2 people arguing with each other on a YouTube video comment section because they think the XBOX is better or the PS3 is better.
To be honest, both consoles have their own pros and cons. Obviously, 1 of the people arguing don’t have both the PS3 and XBOX 360 to see what’s so good and bad about them.
Sooooo basically, they’re trollin’.
some people are extremely adamant in their decision. however, these arguments are very elementary due to the fact that neither side can back up their decision very well.
Because it’s still better than arguing over Twilight.
Why do grown men argue over Mac vs PC, or car manufacturers, or TV shows,or music, or movies?
simple answer: Because we have an opinion, the other person disagrees, and we feel the need to "educate" their taste. Because we are right, and they are wrong.
Personally i have a 360 and i don’t buy into all this fan boy nonsense, it’s a waste of time.
